Snickers the Saint Bernard here! Wow, it’s waaaaay too late (or early???) for me to be on here! But I just couldn’t help myself. Aunty read me the riot act earlier. She’s doggysitting me and she wasn’t happy that I ate her new Nike sneakers so quickly. Apparently they were supposed to last like 4 days. No way that would ever happen! She said that maybe she would just have to walk around barefoot for the next few days. Yikes!!!!! Looks like I totally blew it 😕.
So I was just chillin out in the kitchen earlier and pretty soon I dozed off. I was zonked out when my nose caught a whiff of something heavenly and made me stir. I opened my eyes and that’s when I saw them:
Ooooooohhh yummmmm!!! I couldn’t believe my eyes! My favorite flavor sneaker of all: brand new white leather Reeboks!!! I immediately turned into a big hungry sneaker monster. Aunty continued to straighten things up in the kitchen. Apparently she couldn’t see me as I was laying on the floor on the other side of the table! I just layed there and eyed them:
I drooled uncontrollably just waiting for the right opportunity to get them:
Well, I just couldn’t wait any longer and pounced. Aunty didn’t even know what happened as I rushed her and went right for her Reeboks. In the process, I practically slipped in that giant puddle of drool on the floor! I went totally nutso and got right on top of them:
OHBOYOHBOYOHBOY big hungry doggy want yummy chewy Reeboks sooooo bad! They were so new that Aunty hadn’t even laced them up yet! All that soft white leather was really intoxicating and I sniffed them wildly. They were so fair game and would be super easy to steal off her feet. I managed to get my jowls wrapped around one Reebok and got it nice and gooey:
But Aunty was on her game, and slipped them off her feet and put them on the porch, totally off limits to me:
She said I was a very VERY naughty boy and that I wasn’t having them for dessert tonight. Hmmph! Well, she went to bed a while ago but I stayed in the kitchen watching her delicious Reeboks thru the door window. I’m soooooo frisky and hungry for them. I don’t know if I will be able to sleep tonight. Gonna try a cold shower and see if that helps:
Hopefully Aunty is in a better mood later today and lets me at least have a naughty nibble!
