I have had my dog for 15+ years he was an abandoned.

I didn’t know what kind of dog he was. He was an abandoned when he was about 1 years old. My ex roommate friend didn’t want him she was going to take him to the pound I told her I’ll take him unknowingly what kind of dog he was I just don’t like people abandoning pets just because way they look. Few weeks after I got him I took him to the vet to get his shots and everything they needed for my state. When I was filling out papers they wanted to know what kind of dog he was I left it blank. When it was my turn the vet called us in. He said “why did you leave description blank” I said “he was abandoned I don’t know what kind of dog he was” vet said “you have a bassadore” I said “cool” I didn’t know what that was it didn’t make any difference to me because I liked him. Vet said “you got a very expensive dog his breed is worth about 1000.00” still that didn’t mean anything to me. I’ve had him 15+ years past week he isn’t his normal self. Today I took him to the vet. She said”he’s healthy for his age” tonight I took him out for a walk. He was walking then he tripped and fell over. I picked him up and walked him to my hotel room. I laid by him and said “if you want to go I’ll be alright” now he’s sleeping I see him breathing.
