Morning all! Snickers here barking that boy oh boy what an awesome day I had recently! Aunty doggysat me the other day and we went for a trip to our favorite lake for a swim!
It was a beautiful day and we have to take advantage of them now since fall is just around the corner and the water will become f-f-f-frigid! Even awesomer was when Aunty came to pick me up. I was in for a TOTALLY yummy yummy treat:
Mmmmmm slurp! It’s been waaaay too long since I tasted a brand new pair of white leather Reeboks! She was wearing them sockless and I sniffed and licked them hungrily.
Well, when we got to the lake, Aunty hadn’t even parked yet and I was already headed to the water:
Aunty chased after me and got me back on my leash:
Well, the sight of those Reeboks was too overwhelming and I turned into a naughty sneaker monster. I tugged on the leash, drawing Aunty close enough to the water so that her yummy Reeboks touched:
“Hey, you better not!-“ Aunty exclaimed, as I made a dash into the lake:
Leash still in hand, Aunty was dragged all thru the water and got completely soaked. We stayed out swimming and splashing around and eventually Aunty went back to shore, Reeboks sloshing away:
She was cool and let me play fetch with them. She would slip one off and throw it into the lake and I would go chase it and enjoy it:
Finally we tired out and she went to lay down in the sun and take a nap. I on the other hand, spent the afternoon chewing on her wet and messy Reeboks and having them for dessert. They squeaked and squished between my toofers so loudly that I’m surprised I didn’t wake Aunty up!
An amazing day that will definitely go down in the history books! I gotta tell you, I just can’t get the taste of those Reeboks out of my mouth and dreamed about them all last night:
