Breaking News: Inherently vicious American pit bull terrier does not like to walk on wet grass in the morning to go potty

"It makes her wittle pawsies feel real yucky," our inside source said, in a baby voice. "Thank God this breed is banned in most countries. An absolute menace."

Its really quite interesting that such "vicious breeds" are really just princeses after all.
Ive had mastiffs , great danes , huskies, and malamutes , and all were just big cuddle lumps after they were rehabilitated .

@OogieBoogie I've fostered pitbulls rescued from fighting rings who were more gentle and loving than some people's small fluffy dogs. Dobermans and rottweilers just the same. Never had issues with them either. Unless the dog is taught to be mean or allowed to get away with certain behaviors, they're all big babies
@BigAssLeech that's lovely.
They need it 🤗
Nearly all my dogs were from the dogs home , damaged in some way .

Its sad people see a 'powerful animal ' and decide to abuse it or neglect it.

It breaks my heart.

We had one girl that got neglected so much it took her YEARS to fully trust a human.

But its a memory i wont forget :
5 full years after having her , one summer day we lay down on the grass. She half laid on top of me.

And it happened, i felt her finally fully relax on top of me... i nearly cried in happiness.
She'd been abused, neglected , shot with a shotgun - so damaged when she came to us .
But to feel her body relax into mine was .....just sheer happiness.

I was so happy for her. Its what she deserved.

So many humans are bad for dogs😞

@OogieBoogie Finally earning the trust of an animal who's never been given a reason to trust humans is one of the most fulfilling feelings, for the human and the animal. Absolutely nothing compares to the love and loyalty of a previously unwanted animal. ❤️ I wish more people would rescue or adopt, but luckily it seems that it's becoming more normalized.
@BigAssLeech i wish it too.
And not babying a dog , but becoming a trusted pack leader .

Dogs are social, they need it as much as humans do.

I often wonder if they are the yin to our yang🤔
