I had to put my dog down today

Saddest day of my life. I am sick to my stomach. Literally.

He was 13 and had heart disease. His heart more than doubled in size in less than eight months. His lungs were full of fluid. He lost so much weight.

We were going to put him down in November but the change in meds dosage worked really well and gave us four extra months with him
