That is the worst thing about our beloved pets, they just dont last as long as we want. Forever isnt too much to ask is it? I lost my Aussie to Mammary chain cancer. She was bleeding internally, she was so bruised on her belly . She felt bad , slept mostly , but would eat some. I found her bleeding from her mouth and I took her in and they told me she was suffering . He came back in and gave her a treat while we were telling her goodbye and she perked up and acted like normal. They told me it was only a matter of days . So we had them do it. I understand how you felt. We had her 16 years. She was my buddy .

@jackson55 Well it had to be more serious than not having fun to coerce me into agreeing with the vet. She was in great pain. I couldnt bear that for her.
