I Have a Dog

Please help my English setter has a horrible ear infection. Not even antibiotics from the vet help. I've tried vinager and peroxide! I hate seeing her in pain and itchy. It's not mites either it's an infection! Please help!

If you're cleaning in her ear every day you may be irritating it. I was dealing with my dogs this summer, and that happened. She was put on drops that included and anti-inflammatory. That helped her.

@Kimmerrose: I understand that but don't go digging inside, just wipe the outside.
Did you try 50/50 organic apple cider vinegar and water? That helped mine at the beginning, then the drops healed it further.

I tried that but that also burns and I feel like a piece of crap when I do it.

@Kimmerrose: I am too but I needed to do something for her, and it did help she didn't scratch after. Even the vet said that the vinegar can stop yeast growth, if it's a yeast based infection.
I have a bull mastiff she didnt like it, so I soaked a cotton ball in it and while cleaning with it, squeezed some in.

My horse trainer suggested baby oil cause she was in a similar situation. I may try that.
