I Oppose Dog Fighting

I am very much against animal cruelty and people who breed dogs to fight or take part in dog fighting are sick and need fed to the dogs they are fighting .People like that are good for nothing but dog food and dont deserve to live in civilised society .The law really needs to be far more harsh on these people and make such an example of them that others think twice about doing it .It is not entertainment it is sick.

Thank you for this post, I was just writing about my experiences in animal rescue. I was heavily involved with Pitbulls. Dear God, the things those poor creatures endured as either bait or prey. I have witnessed nightmares with my eyes open. But it says a lot about their nature when it's rare to save one without it being a success story, they forgive so easily.💜

@Budwick Indeed and so misunderstood. Their history dates back to being nanny dogs/protectors of children and even Helen Keller's service dog was a Pittie. Many of the "Vick"tory dogs went onto to serve as well. I believe only 3 were left to live out their lives at the animal rescue because they weren't adoptable. That speaks volumes!

@Rhodesianman It was my pleasure, they were my love. I only got scolded once by my boss reminding me we weren't a Pit Bull rescue only. All it took was a pout and to get an "I love you to death" out of her. For the record, I never listened either.☺️
