@Eternity I also have trained him to get behind me in the event of an aggressive dog so avoid him getting bit. He saves my life on a daily and I refuse to let him become a victim

Service dogs are task trained. It takes up to 2 years. They are allowed in non pet friendly places after being trained. He pushes on my leg providing counter pressure to prevent my hip from dislocating. He has also been trained to help me get up and to pop it back in. He does pressure nerve pain relief as well @Doomflower

[@absolutely the nerve pain thing is amazing! He presses his paws to like cut off the nerve sorta and it stops the flow of the pain. Not sure how exactly it works but it’s a lifesaver on bad days
