I Love Dogs Because They Love Unconditionally

Depends on your personality and your situation. A Golden Retreiver is a great family dog. Very friendly and very protective of their family and their family's property. But they are a big dog and do require the space to run and you have to exercise them, not to mention their hair. Don't know much about the Pyrenees. Beagles are sporting dogs, though smaller. Might fit better in an apartment, and shorter haired, but can be fairly active. Jack Russell terriers are very smart and a smaller dog but also very active. My wife used to have a Yorkshire terrier. Good dog for a small place but sometimes have a tendency to be a one person dog. Do some research.

Many dogs here in kennels are cross breeds. Look around, "the one" will find you. I was raised with jack Russell's, adopted German shepherd x's and now have a jack x Chihuahua. They all chose me and I've never regretted them.

Wow nice , I never had Pyrenees , are they as gentle as golden retrievers? :) . I use to have German Shepard and cocker spaniel . German Shepard are intelligent and faithful and protective and cocker spaniel is loving sweet , scared of people but smart and territorial .

I am dying to have a Beagle or a Great Pyrenees, good memories from childhood with those breeds.
