I Like Cats and Dogs

My dog Rebel got under the back deck a couple days ago, and I just noticed this thing on his front paw. It’s cool to the touch and there’s no broken skin, so I don’t think it’s an infection or anything, I’m just wondering what I could do to keep him from messing with it. He’s also a huge chewer, so I’m pretty sure any kind of bandage wouldn’t last long, so is there anything else I could try?

It doesn’t look that bad.

If he makes it worse put a lamp shade on his head.

Dogs have a higher tolerance to infection than we do.
Looks like it could be a hot spot. Sulfadene works.

I’ve never even heard of that. @Mamapolo2016
Can be caused by an insect bite or just stress. I had to check my Corgi every day, because he'd start licking and licking and licking at one spot ... and before I caught onto this, he had a spot on his rear the size of a saucer ... all the hair rubbed off. They can get infected. It might not be one. but it kind of looks like that.

I'm not sure that's a dog...looks like a Yeti foot.
It is no good to not know what that is. Best to show this pic to a vet and get an opinion.
