I Like Dogs

My 5 month husky puppy only listens when i have food.. do any dog owners know how to get a dog to listen without food being a reward? I know she knows what i mean because whenever i have food and say the same command she listens, when theres no food she doesnt care

Important to remember puppies are kids. They're not focused on the work, but on the party. Far better to start out with short sessions - five minutes - and get the desired result than a half hour where the puppy has lost interest.
