I Have a Dog
Idk why my dog chooses to eat at 3am every night. For about 2 months now, he eats when he thinks my partner and I have gone to sleep. He wakes us up crunching in the middle of the night.

@malizz All my dogs have been different.....some have been really picky eaters.......some eat like above .......some go bury half their meal straight away......and like you said - some scoff their food like there's no tomorrow !

I know that as dogs get older........they break their meals into smaller portions.......it's easier on digestion.? could it be that ?

My dog does that when she is coming on heat ...but you said "he"...so don't think that applies
