I Love My Dog More Than Anything

My parents gave away my dog before 10 yers. I know it may sound impossible but now I grew up I want to find her. I missed her every day and I thought there was nothing I could do as a kid to find her. I forgave my parents and I know its been a long time but I want to find her is she is still alive she will be 12 year old now I never stopped missed her and love her. So I would love some advice. If you were in my position how would you start? I posted already some pics of her there were really kind people and also a girl claimed that she may have my dog they look alike so much but her dog is pretty young. I'm glad she messaged me and she wanted to help me though she was a sweetheart. We said we will set up a meet sometime because you never know. But let's go back to our subject. So if you were in my position what would you do? I feel confused but I have faith. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you
