Congratulations! It's an exciting day for you. Let the kitty get used to the new home at her own pace and don't overwhelm her (like with visitors, noise, other kinds of stimulation). She's already got a lot to explore and get used to.

We have two Pekinese... (I used to have cats), which have one characteristic that's a lot like cats... they sleep a lot... during the day. Of course... we are working often as well...

they are... a mother-daughter pair... the rescues kept them together cause the daughter is not fully right... she'll not further develop... a total puppy... but ok, overall.
