@InstructHer A very good one to have. I've had three black cats now. People found them to be unlucky to have till only recently again. But that's a very special breed alright.

@val70 black cats are lucky in Wales! Bombay cats are very agile and he is a supreme hunter.

I have a Ragdoll 💖

My Grandma has what she says is a Norwegian Forest Cat but I think he might actually be a Maine Coon or atleast a mix of it. She found him as a kitten just hanging around her house so she brought him in and it’s been her cat ever since.

@Wallflow3r Yes, that's a lovely cat. Maine Coons are typically larger and more social, while Norwegian Forest Cats have a distinct triangular head shape and a more independent streak.

I swear the cats in China were different!
val70 · 56-60
@Boeing Sorry, but I stay away from China.

@val70 yeah yeah you know better!

I’ve got a male Domestic Longhair who’s very friendly, and a female Ragdoll that isn’t. I love them both though.
One is an American (or Domestic) Shorthair.
The other six are British Shorthair Tuxedo.

@RockinPop54 I have two cats that's enough for now. Perhaps when I'm really living in an open space. Love to move to somewhere were there are less cars and even lesser people.
@RockinPop54 I'm just saying I don't love just cats.
I'm an all-around furry animal lover.

@RockinPop54 I'm looking after my dad's pigeons now. They're really getting into my system. One male pigeon lost his chick to another. The female took another. And he's still trying to look after it in spite of being picked and such. He's such a keeper. I can't get rid of them all now.
I've had many cats, many breeds. Most were mixed.

The one I miss the most, who died more than 25 years ago, was a Russian Blue. He and I were so close.

I'm looking forward to our reuniting in the non-physical world.

@PhoenixPhail Me too with my little Norwegian forest cat. She was so brave till the end. I told her to wait for me at the gate.
@val70 I'm sure my sweet Russian Blue will be there for me. But until I get there, is having a wonderful time.

None for me, but our resident crazy cat lady @MsSwan does have a few.

She's a poodle
val70 · 56-60
@MarineBob Wow! Do you wash her regulary? That's a pure US breed from the 1980s
MarineBob · 61-69, M
@val70 yes but my back yard is a big lake
MoSmith · 70-79New
We have had a couple of cats but unfortunately one met its end on the road outside and the other we think was poisoned. 😢
val70 · 56-60
@MoSmith Oh dear, that sums up my childhood. I live now in a cottage with fields at the back but I still keep my cats inside. Except the British longhair. He had been injured before and he kept himself nicely to the local gardens.
