Cats are the boss

I get off the sofa to poor me and my girlfriend a glass of wine.
I return from the kitchen to find my side of the sofa is now occupied by the cat who is looking very comfortable.
And yet I don’t have the heart to kick him off, so I get to watch the rest of Clarkson’s Farm on an uncomfortable dining table chair.
Doesn’t make sense as cats look comfortable wherever they choose to sleep.
