weird stuff my cat does

Sometimes she tries to jump on the bed but fails and then runs away to the other room and starts cleaning herself furiously.

I interpret this as she is trying to convince herself that it never happened and was over there just cleaning herself the entire time. It never happened. IT NEVER happened.
