also I want to talk about how my cat handles a new environment

They say that when you bring a cat to a new place you have to let it come out of its cage on its own so it can use the cage as a little home base.

But that has never been my experience personally. Every time I have moved I opened up the cage for it to make up her mind about when to come out and she just busts out like the kool aid man. HEY EVERYBODY!
