I do too. Only saw 2 of the ferals this morning when I put dry food and fresh water out for them. Most of the dry food has not been eaten. Gave the two kitties some leftover rotisserie chicken chopped up and they finished it off. I am pretty sure that someone else is feeding them and perhaps sheltering them. I know two other people in different home around the corner that are also looking out for them. I counted 12 cats one morning. Saw one of the half-grown kittens watching the man who helps care for them when he came out of his house and as soon as she saw him outside she made a beeline to his house. I figure if they have a warm place to hang out they won’t be over here eating till it warms up. The man is a landscaper and there were vehicles at his house all day.
I was thinking about that this morning.. 🥺

I hope all the wild animals and stray animals are safe

I do too. Especially with this Arctic front coming through.

@Musicman The ones around here I figure sleep clustered up together in a wad to stay warm. One morning a couple weeks ago after a really cold night one of the big cats and a young one were over here to eat, the little one kept loving up to the big one and I figured he looked after her the night before and kept her warm.

@cherokeepatti I hope they have a safe place out of the storm and are staying warm.

@Musicman I think they do. Rhubarb and one of the feral kittens came to the door yesterday and I gave them chopped up chicken breast and warm water. They ate quickly and then went back to where ever they came from. I didn’t see any of the other 10 cats and there weren’t many cat tracks on the snow so they are hanging out together somewhere.
