Does your cat 'talk' back to you with meows or chirps?

Mossy's mews ..

"You humans are odd creatures but a necessity.

My favourite treats are cheese flavoured Dreamies and even though 'She' says I am only allowed five, her woolly haired boy mentioned adult cats can have up to 20 pieces.
"No," said She, "Mossy will get fat."

She is kind and doesn't mind me stretching out on her lap as she sits reading or watching tv.

I was taken to the vet two months ago and you would think a vet would know that a kitty has claws and would not hesitate in removing all the skin from the body. They should know how to protect themselves with steel mesh gloves, an army helmet, a hockey face mask and a long sleeved flak jacket.
They never learn.

But you love cats even when:

We like to wake you at 3am with a rasping lick on the nose and breath that would corrode the armour off a panzer tank.

We notice you more when we are hungry.

We vigorously scratch kitty litter over a 3 meter radius

and when a few minutes play reminds you to get a stronger flea treatment.

Leonardo Da Vinci is quoted as saying "The smallest feline is a masterpiece."
You know he is right."

Yes. Short vocals resembling muttering, if I delay joining him outside

He's got a meow for everything. A " follow me", the "where are you going?", "HELLO!", and his " hi, I've no time to chat".
