My cat hasn’t left me for a moment since Thursday night

He usually acts like he could care less but since I’ve come home Thursday night after my hernia repair, he has not left my side. Even when I get up to walk around or make tea, he follows me and then he goes back to bed with me. It’s like he just knows something is wrong ♥

@Yourwildestdreams did you have hernia surgery?
Yourwildestdreams · 51-55, M
@Jenny1234 Yeah back at the end of February “ Inguinal“ 🤦🏼‍♂. Four years before they finally gotten round to me 😒. Got caught up in the COVID slow down on surgeries .
Still not to lifting anything for two more months . Follow your surgeons advice and pay no attention to Dr Google etc
Everyone’s different

@Yourwildestdreams that’s the same surgery I had. Inguinal. How on earth did it take four years for them to finally look after you? I got the results showing I had a hernia at the end of February and I had my surgery on April 17.

@Jenny1234 Wow that’s fast . I acquired mine back in 2021 and at the time all elective surgeries were put on hold because of COVID and after that it was catch up, cancers surgeries came first and after I finally got a to see a surgeon it was another year 🤦🏼‍♂.
How’s the recovery going?

@Yourwildestdreams where do you live? I had a surgery in march 2021 which was scheduled in January 2021.

Recovery going well. It’s painful but I am getting up and around. My boys are doing the cooking and cleaning. I’m definitely going to milk it for all it’s worth 😄

@Jenny1234 Im in eastern Canada 🇨🇦 Health care is back to normal again finally 🙌🏻. You’re just in early recovery yet then. Move around and walk but don’t strain or lift. Thinking back the first week was torture getting in and out of bed especially 🤦🏼‍♂ spent a lot of time in a recliner. Hope you don’t run into any problems 🤗
Haha. Milk it for all it’s worth 🫣
