Have you ever taken your cat on a road trip?

I’m driving to Montreal next month to stay for a while and I might want to take my cat.

What do I need to know?

A lot of hotels won't accept cat's. So that's a problem. They like to roam free in the car. They nap a lot too. They sell small disposable litter boxes. Use one of those. They are going to shed a lot on travel day too. Make sure they don't escape when you stop for gas, food or breaks.

@Musicman I’m not staying at a hotel. I’m staying at my daughters house then we are going to chemin lac lili for a few days to stay in a pet friendly air bnb

@Jenny1234 So no overnight stays along the way? That sounds fabulous! I hope you have an amazing time. 🙂

@Musicman no overnight stays on my drive to/from Quebec. it’s only a five hour drive.
Thank you! It will be my first solo trip on the road going there
