I did an experiment with one of my cats today.

After having cooked roast chicken with roasted vegetables, I gave her a piece of chicken while she was sat on the bar stool next to where I was eating. She ate it instantly.
Next, I gave her a piece of roasted carrot, smothered in chicken gravy. She sniffed the carrot, licked it, then flicked it onto the floor.
Conclusion: cats don’t like carrots.

My cat likes peas. Just peas. I have outdoor cats that eats cabbage, carrots (boiled), pumpkin, cucumber, all sorts of veggies. Different cats like different veggies. But good experiment. If you keep giving them safe foods to try, they might like some of them =)
