Had another little visitor

I was out earlier conversating on the phone and they sweet little stray cat came up to me he's a tiny little thing but he is sweet as all get out black white with patches. He wanted to come inside but I don't have the ability to take care of a cat on a regular basis right now when it comes to cat food litter box etc. And in my mind once you let an animal into your house you are making a promise just like with the child. You are telling that animal trust in me you have a forever home and to not be able to provide that is the worst kind of promise that can be broken. Therefore I would rather occasionally give it scraps of food and let it hang around outside than take on the responsibility of a full-time home that I may not be able to provide at this moment. Still though I can't see an animal go hungry so table straps is not a problem. In the meantime it has been good little company. I have a feeling it is someone's cat though because it is very clean and well behaved around people
