Need some advice

I have a kitten 16 weeks old he was last of his liter I did want to get two kittens my mates cat has kittens and I was wondering if it's best to get a boy or girl cat?
If I have two boys will they fight? What's best to do or does it not matter which I get?

@NativePortlander1970 yea. My daughter wanted to get a girl cat so she could call her Bella so she will be happy. I just want to make right choice so they don't fight. I will slowly introduce them anyways

@MiraRoss Back in the late 90's I had a wiry short haired grey tabby named Nitro, she truly lived up to her name.
