Anyone have any experience with hyperthyroidism in cats and using meds to treat it?

Anyone had to put meds in a cat's food? Did they eat it?

What about meds in the ears twice/day?

I seem to remember my cat having that and there was a medication the was rubbed inside his ear.

@Bowenw There is. I wondered if anyone had experience with it. I suppose that would be easier than putting it in a cat's food, because there's a good chance the cat simply won't eat the food.
