Careful if you're thinking of getting a rescue cat. My nan had one. She slipped & fell one day & the cat literally sat there & did nothing.

knew a guy several years ago that injured/cut his leg at home, and his cat just strolled up and starting licking the wound

he got cat scratch fever as a result and had to have his leg amputated below the knee...

Rescue cat? Yeah, no. Cats absolutely don’t give a shit.

I didn't get any cat and got no help when I slipped either, so...

Atleast it didn't go straight to eating her.
