Do cats grow out of chewing on things? [I Have Cats]

My cats are about 7 months old and they are constantly chewing on ethernet cables, vinyl flooring, cardboard etc. Are they teething? Are they going to get tired of it?

Never had the problem. Not even with this little one who is now gone yet who I found as a tiny little kitten with eyes barely open!

@DeWayfarer my tuxedo cat is very lovey Dovey and the gray-and-white I found outside remains very standoffish
