Do cats grow out of chewing on things? [I Have Cats]

My cats are about 7 months old and they are constantly chewing on ethernet cables, vinyl flooring, cardboard etc. Are they teething? Are they going to get tired of it?

Mine is 10 years old and still chews on the occasional cable or on me, it's their nature to chew, they are predators, like it or not.
