I Love Cats

It started with a cat I named Patches. She showed up at my back door 11 years ago right after the hurricanes. I had her until this past June when a vicious dog attacked and killed her.


And the rest is history. She brought her sisters, brothers and aunts and uncles. I had them all neutered. It is cruel to abandon pets to the wild. Life is not easy for them. I decided to help with the trap, neuter, and release program.

We trapped a 1 lb kitten who was starving to death. I was asked to "foster" him until he was ready to be neutered and adopted. Well foster means you are stuck with him sucker. I named the kitten Buster.


Buster and Mia, the snow shoe Siamese that i also found in the wild, got along beautifully.


It was finally time to get Buster neutered. The vet called and said he was VERY angry at her. I had to laugh. The funny part is they asked me to pay a 2.00 disposal fee. I gladly paid it because no way did I want to bring his male parts home.

Anyway, Buster needed me to hold his paw all the way home. If I put both hands on the wheel, he stuck his whole leg out to get me.


Buster is doing fine and I am finally at my limit of cats with the 3 legged one I also adopted.
