I had one that looked a lot like the one in the first pic. He was a wonderful cat.

@Rutterman That was was called Dante. He was my Oma’s cat and recently passed away.

@whitewolfgirl77 Sorry to hear that. I'm sure he had a good life with her.

@Rutterman He came to her late in life. Was skin and bones when his old owner dropped him and his companion, Damian, off at her house. Hadn’t been to the vet in over ten years. It was infuriating to say the least. What made me even madder was that they declawed Dante!

Damian was put down a few months after my Oma got him because of cancer. Dante lived close to seven years with her though.

@whitewolfgirl77 That is a sad story. I'm glad that Dante at least had nearly seven years with someone who cared for him properly.

Cats should never be declawed. It's outlawed in the UK. Not so in my country (USA), but there are many American vets who refuse to do it.

@Rutterman It can cause the animal serious harm later in life. Bone has been known to grow into the pad of a declawed cat, causing serious pain. Just glad Dante never suffered from it.
