I Have a Cat [Cats]
My cat is a rescue kitty, unknown age but approximately 1 maybe 2 years old. My family and myself snatched her up out of the parking lot where my husband use to work. She came right up to us, made herself known and loved being pet though a bit skittish at first.
Me and the kids made the decision then that she was coming home with us. Husband when he came off shift was like no, no, no, no, damn it okay fine she's a sweet cat and not as feral as the others. So we went back inside, got cat food, bowl, collar and a carrier and plush bed made an appointment for her shots and checkup.
We didnt make it to her appointment. Not even a week later and she was at the vet fighting for her life with having the worst case of Steatitis the vet had seen, uterine infection and blocked bowel. Vet said that we did nothing wrong and likely that she knew something was wrong and likely she approached us seeking help. Also mentioned that the Steatitis likely resulted from a diet high in fish or canned tuna which was often placed cans of in the parking lot where my husband use to work. If ya want to feed a stray or a couple don't use canned fish, get a couple cans of cat food or dry cat food please.
Anyway It's been a year now since she had emergency spay and intestinal surgery for blocked bowels and long treatment for the Steatitis. She still has tummy issues having to have part of her intestines removed. She's spoiled rotten now, will only eat sheba wet food. She loves napping. Starring out the window. Snacking the dogs around letting them know shes boss lol. Being picked up and cuddled. She actually stands on her hind legs and reaches up like a toddler to tell you she wants to be held or picked up and carried around.
I layed down after being on my feet too long. Well her spoiled furry butt curled up on my chest and stomach to take a nap. I had to get some lunch for myself a few minutes ago. Well she's so spoiled and content that she didn't even wake up when I transferred her to her bean bag chair 馃槅
