I Love Cats

A day in the life of cats, just for fun...:-)
1st a family photo before you all run out and do your thing for the day.

Shelley sat on her usual spot outside so everyone could admire her beauty.

Tigger, being the liberal revolutionary type of guy that he is, decided to hang out with the chicks.

Harry and Sally found love and spent the day fawning over each other.

Stewart, who had been out all night partying with his teenage friends, collapsed with exhaustion .

Elizabeth amused herself by speaking on behalf of her Human slave who she instructed to carry her around all day because...well, just because it was amusing...:-)

Houdini, who wants to be a master illusionist, trained for many hours perfecting one of his best tricks.

Damien, being the possessive cat that he is, spent the day keeping everyone away from Trudy who didn't really care for Damien but tolerated it because she wanted to sleep anyway.

Steve spent the day in minimalistic surroundings contemplating the meaning of life.

Tyrone found that scaring the crap out of himself by popping balloons was great fun. His parents are considering therapy for him...and themselves.

Meanwhile...Nigel found religion and took the neighbor's dog hostage in an attempt to force everyone to repent.

Grumpy's parents sent her for classes in manners and etiquette. She failed the test miserably.

Marvin spent many hours fighting the illusion of his own demons.

Lilithiana, who according to rumour practices the dark arts, gave birth to a basketful of eyes.

Stephany spent the day being shocked and appalled at everyone else's behaviour.

Mike decided that enough was enough and took it upon himself to teach the neighborhood bully a lesson.

While Timothy got into trouble for breaking things by practicing martial arts in the kitchen.

He got into trouble because Tinkerbell, who was well hidden, saw it all and reported him.

And Billy ? Well... he is the family perv. Tinkerbell is his probation officer.

Simeon is a staunch conservative and insists that his right to play politically incorrect extreme sports is enshrined in the 2nd ammendment of the cat Bill of rights.

Barbara is a journalist and works for the newspaper "The Daily Tales". She had one of the most stressful days of her career while interviewing Ivan the white supremacist. As a reward she gets 3 pics

Kuli, who has only one eye (really) decided to prove that being handicapped would never hold him back. He went where no cat had gone before and I think he proved his point.

Solomon, who for obvious reasons is the king, had a leisurely breakfast and then spent the day passing wise and fair judgment on disputes that arose. His judgments are also never questioned for obvious reasons.

At the end of the day Charles won the Catnip award for most well behaved cat.

@Wraithorn I've always been a cat person and have had 7 cats as pets throughout my life most have lived long lives. I've rescued dozens as well. I had calico/tabby for 21 years that I had a special bond with and she was the smartest cat I've ever known. I taught her words and sentences every day that she grew to understand. She was funny too and had such a sense of humor besides being the most beautiful cat I've ever seen. She had big emerald green eyes.

@Mguinm A cat with a sense of humour ? Wow. That would certainly indicate an exceptional level of cat intelligence. You are privileged to have had her around for so long.

Thanks for sharing that. Much appreciated. It's a welcome addition to my cat post.

@Wraithorn Yes she was funny whether she knew it or not. She was just so brilliant I'd call her a kitty Einstein. A few times I told her it was a holiday and she knew that meant presents around Christmas so I told her on Mother's Day it was a "Mama's holiday" and said to her "Where's my present?" and I'm not kidding you she went right out and brought me a cricket as a gift. She also brought me a bird another time I mentioned Mama's day. Well after that I stopped mentioning it! Lol!!

@Mguinm Lol. How sweet and considerate of her. The precious little helper. 🙂
Mguinm · 51-55, F
@Wraithorn She was! Lol! I'd joke with her all the time where is my present lol. She always knew her presents out of the bunch every Christmas she'd go straight to them lol. She practically shook the box with her paws lol.

@Mguinm That's quite something. I would love to have met that that endearing little soul.

@Wraithorn She was so sweet. My mom loved her! She was mom's granddaughter since I never had any human children. When my mom and stepdad had to take her from Oregon to California by car she was the sweetest most obedient cat. She'd climb up to the front seat of the car and mom would pet her and one time she got too close to the steering wheel and mom said go back to sleep and she went right away a few different times. She was a good kitty. I loved her expression when I'd say "Is Jaz a good kitty?" She'd look up at me straight in the eyes to verify she was! Lol but if she was bad she never looked at me lol.

@Mguinm That cat just seems more and more special. In my experience my cats had to go in a cat basket in the car because otherwise they would freak out completely.

I learned that early in life when one day I ended up with my cat perched on my head in the car and her claws sunk into my scalp while screeching blue murder.

@Wraithorn Oh dear! That sounds painful. Yes she was special. I'll never find another Jaz :(
