I Love Cats
I never had cats when I lived with my parents since my mom is allergic. But after a few years of living with friends while attending college, I noticed some cats on the back porch of our rented house. There was a momma cat and four kittens. We brought the kittens inside the next night before it got too cold and to keep them safe. We tried to catch the momma cat as well to keep them together, but we never could. For the next month, we could hear her meowing sadly for her kittens. :'(
We eventually gave two kittens away to friends while I kept the others. I named them Hobbes and Susie. They're both so fluffy and derpy. ^_^ They lay on their backs a lot, which leads to lots of belly rubs. They're both quiet for the most part and don't like car rides.
I almost lost Hobbes last March from a flea-carried illness. While trying to destroy the sickness in him, his body was also destroying any blood cells that got in the way. He became very anemic, and needed two blood transfusions to get him back on his feet. But they're both still with me and continuing to be cute. :)
