I Have 2 Cats

Their Names Are Dorito And Aspen... I obtained Dorito in April 2013 and I think he was in the development stage of an older teenager, because he was big enough to stop growing, but he still got a little bigger later on. Dorito is an orange and white beauty. Something like a calico with only 2 colors. He can be a little rough with the teeth, but he will sleep anywhere there is people. So sweet. This past Wednesday (it is now August 10, 2013), we obtained a buddy for Dorito to have. I have never had 2 cats at the same time before so this is all new to me. Of course, the first day there was a lot of hostility and the next day we had a name: Aspen. He has a black and grey tiger pattern, but his stripes are all broken leading him to look more like an ocelot than a tiger. I estimate him to be in the younger teenaged stage, as he is still very small, but not as small as a freshly adopted kitten. The most amazing part of all this is: it only took 4 days for them both to take to each other as if they'd always been together. I was anticipating so much less. All the other sites said they may tolerate each other at the very most, but these guys are always following each other and playing around. Aspen has a couple of small kinks in his tail and other (hopefully minor) health issues. I will be taking him to the vet for another check up with more questions, so no worries there! I am currently living with my boyfriend, who, despite being a dog lover, has yet to get a freakin' dog! Except for children, as I have zero, our home feels more complete than ever. Still wondering when a dog will come to join us...
