@Illeana hey how's your toe?

@Illeana Good. I actually have an ingrown toenail. Not sure what to do with it yet, but I know I can't put it in water even if they say it helps. Cause I don't want to sit for a few minutes having my toe feel like it's cramping or whatever underwater.

@KandiGhostcat you need to get that thing operated

@Illeana There's ways to do it at home. Like one is where you can take a cotton wedge and put it under there (it would hurt a bit). But all other methods/treatments are out for me. Besides cutting it off carefully.

@Illeana Funny part is my nail polish is still on my toes, so that's probably how I didn't even notice the ingrown toenail.

@KandiGhostcat remove the nail polish thing now and contact a doctor and get it operated. i've seen this in my family

@Illeana How can I remove it though? Nail polish remover might sting the ingrowth.

nope it won't. immediately contact a doctor.i'm telling you do it fast or this will really cost you

@Illeana But my parents would have to pay for operation. And they probably wouldn't want to or think it's necessary. Should I just try to cut it oval way? I have slanted clippers.

@Illeana Mom thought of putting proxide on it and I'm like "No, that won't get rid of the ingrowth." I'm from Indiana. But I was just thinking about cutting it today and have ice on it. Cause if I wait too long it'll get worse. Besides, if I could see my nail before I could've stopped the ingrowth from coming. At school there won't be anything I can do about it.

@Illeana I'm told to just carefully dig around and see if there's anything else. But I haven't checked again yet. If I choose to use home treatments today and for whatever days then I need to be careful. As in, make sure my toe can go in water. My uncle gets ingrowths all the time and takes care of them himself, but I don't know how he does it.
