@GuyWithOpinions Those 14 injections weren’t antibiotics or skin grafts. They’re the rabies post-exposure series that used to be given in the abdomen after a dog bite. Rabies is almost always fatal once symptoms start, so those injections are literally life-saving, not optional. You don’t take them because of missing flesh or infection—you take them to stop rabies from killing you.

@GuyWithOpinions Stray dogs can be sick and carry rabies — once it shows, it’s fatal. That’s why the injections are serious.

They don't do it like that here anymore. You'd get it 5 times in your arm in the span of one month and it doesn't hurt much.
rabies isn't fun for anyone.
