I'm extremely happy to announce the new member of my family! Avery Pax Regan! I rescued this little girl at JungleBobsReptileWorld. She is a special species of Lizard that needs unique care. Avery is a 8 month old, Blue Tounge Skink. Blue Tongue Skinks are NOT/NEVER "store" pets; you have to go to a rescue to adopt. I HATE pet stores that sell these animals and don't actually care for them like Petco & Pet-smart. I will NEVER agree to ship any animal; so I went in person. Anyway, she's been my world for the past 6 days. Avery has been extremely active lately and her species actually crave attention and a bond with their person. Therefore, I've been getting her used to being played with and cuddled. She LOVES cuddles, kisses and climbing all over me. At first I was panicked and worried because she didn't eat right away, but when I showed her her food physically; she ate everything right up and had had a healthy boil movement.
