He's apt to get hurt one day. He can fly but is still disadvantaged

@Gibbon they've been buds for a few years...if my cat really wanted to harm him she would have done it a long time ago....they can be walking by on the floor past each other like 2 strangers on the street. when she lunges at him it's play. her claws are retracted. i'm actually more worried about the bird biting her as she sleeps...like in this position

@beermeplease They can break open seeds and nuts. Powerful beaks. From what I read 300 to 500 pounds compared to 165 for average human. Yeah that's a big ouch

@Gibbon yup...the bird is a big suck if on my shoulder in the kitchen doing what ever but sees the couch as a "nesting ground" and can be aggressive

@Gibbon exactly...lol i have stuffed animals and a bag on the backrest that freaks him out so he doesn't land their...he hates objects like that 🤣
