@4meAndyou Boo-Boo doesn’t talk so much like before. He has a large tumor protruding out above the base of his tail. I don’t know how long he can live with that tumor. I was making kale salad last night and he said “Want some” so I got the birds Romaine lettuce. He can talk when he wants something.

@cherokeepatti Oh my gosh. Patti, please make a book with all your SW posts about Boo Boo? Just so that his awesomeness is all recorded in one place. If he has to go over the rainbow bridge someday soon, you will WANT that, after you are done grieving him.

@Musicman Haven’t taken him to a vet. I doubt there’s anything that they can do for him. Had another parakeet with a tumor about 35 years ago. They say that the blue ones only live about half as long or less than the natural color (green with yellow head) ones. They are genetically weaker.

@cherokeepatti Times and medicine have changed drastically in the past 35 years. It might be worth at least a phone call. 🤷‍♂
