My rescue ferrets

@ironborn They have but it's never painful.

@ArkBallet silly question perhaps, can you house train them?

@ironborn Yeah, mostly actually! They’ll use a box, or multiple boxes to be precise. I keep a few around the house to try and avoid any messes. They’ll hit the litter ninety percent of the time but once in a while they will go rogue XD

@ArkBallet did you train them or is that something natural them finding and using the litter boxes?

@ironborn It’s mostly natural instinct mixed with me me doing a little gentle redirection every time they got "creative".

@ArkBallet love it..never imagined they'd make good pets.

@ironborn They’re little chaos wizards. But once they trust you? They’re sweet, clingy, & ridiculously funny.

@ironborn Two cats as well! And I count my chickens. I have a horse too but right now they're living separately from me.

@ironborn Not at all, I'm happy to respond! At first they didn't like each other at all, and I had to monitor closely to make sure there was no fights. Then one day my cat Hawthorne was startled by the white ferret Runar hissing at him, and since then a truce has more or less been formed and they mostly leave each other alone.
