Boo-Boo Likes To Yell “Change It!” When He Doesn’t Like What’s On TV….

He did it when I had a You Tube video on tv yesterday of people doing some construction work, guess he didn’t like the noise. And he did it a couple days ago when I was playing a backyard bird video. Getting picky about what type of birds he wants to listen to, maybe he has favorites from the other bird videos I’ve played. But this morning I was sitting here without the tv on and it was quiet in the house and he yelled “Change It”…wanting me to turn on the tv I guess. He’s a bossy little bird all right.

He should have his own TV show - or YouTube channel at the very least, Patti

@ArtieKat He certainly has honed the way he says things and how he communicates. He used to squawk and flap his wings when he wanted something like greens and we were eating (especially green foods like salad or broccoli). I would tell him he would have to wait till we were through eating and then I would get up and get them some greens. Now he says it differently, and he tries to do it when I first go in the kitchen and start cooking. I was making kale salad yesterday for dinner. Boo-Boo pipes up and says “Well…what do we get?” Which sounds a lot more polite than squawking & wing flapping.

@ArtieKat When he was squawking to get my attention I would tell him “Use your words, Boo-Boo. That’s not the way to ask for things.” He finally got what I said.
