A story maybe I should have shared. A cat from here, Guelph, found her way to Toronto. The cat was missing for 26 days, the owners had put up the missing posters trying to find her, and then someone kind found her and phoned them. How did the cat travel so many highways, and the escarpment, then travel of eight lanes of traffic?

@awildsheepschase maybe someone found her picked her up drove her to Toronto and then either let her go or she ran off? But it wouldn’t surprise me if they walked too because they’re so smart.
And you can get from Guelph to Toronto without taking the highway

@Jenny1234 I prefer the idea of her taking the side roads, then the creeks, almost any pass we didnt create and I'd say smart kitty.

@awildsheepschase they have a excellent sense of direction.
When mom moved out of the desert in 1961 they took the cat with them. They pull over just before San Bernardino some 30 miles and the cat jumped out and ran away.
A few weeks later they went back to the house in the desert. And there was the cat laying like nothing had happened.
