Chances are your mom is generation X and most of this stuff was created by our generation as far as editing programs and such doesn't mean we enjoy doing it doesn't mean we do it just for fun but it also doesn't mean that we don't know how. Also most of us do know how to watch YouTube videos which will show you pretty much anything or read how to do it and follow instructions.
