For people who have lost pets (died, but not lost)….

How long was it before you were back to being yourself?

I have not recently lost a pet btw. Someone I know has and they are not coping well.

In some ways, like any death involving a loved one, you never really get over it.
Getting back to normal will vary from person to person.
