For people who have lost pets (died, but not lost)….

How long was it before you were back to being yourself?

I have not recently lost a pet btw. Someone I know has and they are not coping well.

Never thought about how long before but over a year. How long over a year, i don't know. For me its more traumatic losing a pet ( I consider them my children) than a person.
