My big sister had a freaking zoo of pets. I counted to 11-15 or so and I took care of them while she went to school. Bunnies. Rats. Mice. Guinea pigs. Cats. (And they all had babies of course.)
Then I had my own cat at dad's. And had her til I turned 19 while mom got two cats and two bunnies when she left dad.
Last but not least mom got us a dog.
