My first dog ever was named Mary Jane. Not because of weed (although I always loved weed).
It was because when I first got her I couldn't think of a name & she wouldn't answer to anything 😅 after a week of being nameless, I was singing "Mary Jane" by Rick James at the top of my lungs & she came running & jumping all over me. I noticed whenever I sang the song, she came running every time. So that became her name 🤷 & I would often sing it when I called her 😂
