my cat had her kittens this morning!!!

i got woken up at 5am by my son telling me she is having her babies on my roommates bed 😅 i coaxed her into my room with her first two babies. she had 6 kittens!!! sadly one didn’t make it so there are only 5 😔 she wouldn’t let me sleep because as soon as i would leave or move away, she would jump up and start trying to get into the bed with me. so i had to sit there petting her all morning. she is so cute and strong 🥺

I love cats.. I fed a brood of feral kittens twice a day for weeks..
A woman at work and myself managed to gather all of them up and find homes for them when they were old enough.

it’s so funny how we were literally just talking about her not liking any place i made for her yesterday!! i put another box under my bed last night and she stayed in that one for a long time. but then she didn’t come to my room at night. she’s using that box now!! the box is halfway out from underneath my bed, she will climb out and try to be with me if i push it all the way in. so i will just leave it for now. @Onestarlitnight

She's trying to share her motherhood with you.. cats are ver social ..
I wouldn't handle them for at least a week or two.. when their eyes open and they start exploring, She's probably going to want to move them..
Don't be surprised if you wake up one morning and they're gone.. she'll show you where she put them though..
Looks like you're a kitty grandma now. 😊

How old is your little boy?
Help him to understand that the kitties are too small and weak to be picked up or handled and that they need to be left alone and quiet with their mommy, look but don't touch and be quiet please 😇
